Alec Baldwin, an actor who has been making fun of President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, released a memoir where he admits that he regrets being a little too rude in his past.
His nasty attitude lead to a “permanent break” in his relationship with his daughter. Unsurprisingly, Alec Baldwin has a history of being sharp tongued and rude, which is only made even more evident by a voicemail that was released in 2007 where he was caught calling his 11-year old child a “rude and thoughtless pig.”
Instead of owning up to his words and expressing regret, he is mad that the topic keeps being brought up, calling it a wound “that never heals.” He has already hurt his daughter “in a permanent way” and now, this silver tongued fox is picking on President Donald Trump.
Ireland also addressed the 10-year-old scandal, telling Page Six in 2012 that she thought the situation was “blown out of proportion.”
“The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was,” she told the outlet in 2012. “He’s said stuff like that before just because he’s frustrated. For me it was like, ‘OK, whatever.’ I called him back I was like, ‘Sorry, Dad, I didn’t have my phone.’ That was it.”
Baldwin has been busy playing President Donald Trump during the 42nd and 43rd seasons of Saturday Night Live. The 59-year-old actor said recently that he was preparing to retire his Trump impression.
