Adrian Jones, a 7-year-old boy from Kansas, had reported his own abuse to the police, two years before he was killed in a horrific way by his own parents. The child’s body was found in pieces, as his parents fed him to the pigs.
The boy’s death was in 2015. Now, documents are turning up proving that child protective services had come to the house amidst complaints before, and the small child had actually told them that he was being severely abused.
“My daddy keeps hitting me in the head and punches me in the stomach and my mom keeps pulling on my ears and it really hurts. Mommy and Daddy lock me in my room by myself. Mommy and Daddy can’t feed me,” he said, while CPS made a file of it.
The Daily Mail reports:
Despite his comments, the child was allowed to carry on living with the depraved pair because officials saw ‘no signs of physical abuse’.
Details of the 2013 interview released this week and published by The Kansas City Star on Thursday.
They come after the revelation that Kansas City officials were in contact with the Missouri Department of Social Services about Adrian before his death. Neither agency has yet take responsibility for the little boy’s death and neither responded to requests for comment on the 2013 interview on Thursday.
It is not clear whether Kansas City officials were aware of Adrian’s comments in 2013 before he died. The child’s grandmother Judy Conway says she is yet to even be shown his file and is calling for a public inquiry into how officials failed to spot the abhorrent abuse he endured before his death.
The torture was laid bare in disturbing photographs discovered on Heather’s computer by her landlord after she was jailed last year.
The little boy’s murder was discovered two months after he died when Heather told police who had responded to reports of Michael shooting at her to look for bones in the pig pen.
