A self-proclaimed rocker and “food stamp surfer” from California has infuriated Americans by bragging about using his welfare benefits to dine on lobster and sushi. Fox News profiled 29-year-old Jason Greenslate living the high life by going to strip clubs and driving a Cadillac Escalade with taxpayer dollars. Greenslate said he has no plans to get a job because the system doesn’t require him to.
“It looks like a good time, man,” he said. “Do I have to apologize for the way the system’s set up? I don’t feel I need to apologize. It’s just the way I’m wording it, it kinda seems like I’m getting the ruler on the hand, you know?”
Greenslate said he plans to be off food stamps within a month and become a multi-millionaire by the end of the year. His genius plan? Using food stamps to focus on his “career” and release an album with his band, Ratt Life, that will sell “millions and millions” worth of copies.
Of course, this isn’t the only outrageous display of welfare abuse. It was revealed last month that an illegal alien with seven children has been receiving food stamps, subsidized government housing and Social Security for the last 20 years. 50-year-old single mother Marita Nelson, who entered the U.S. by swimming across the Rio Grande river, receives $240 per month in food stamps, $700 per month in social security, free medications and subsidized housing. She has not attempted to find work and shockingly encouraged others to do the same in a recent interview.
“When you really, really need it, call for help before it’s too late,” she told Fox News. Privately funded expert navigators are now popping up in huge numbers to help clients screw the system by applying for multiple federal aid programs at the same time, many of whom were recruited by the Obama administration. They are hoping to increase federal aid to Florida by $1 billion per year.
