A South Carolina teacher has been charged with sexual battery against three students after she allegedly had sex with three teens in one night at a house party.
Police say 29-year-old Ellen Niemiec, a married mother of three, has been charged with sexual battery with a student after she reportedly attended a house party in April and engaged in sexual acts with three different boys. Authorities say Niemiec also had sex with at least one of the boys on the school campus.
Mike Bosnak said “it started off with kind of sexual talk and it ended up dirty talk and then it ended up texting pictures and it’s our understanding that this teacher had, would have sexual talks with her class on numerous occasions. And it escalated from that into, you know, actual physical, the physical part of this.”
Berkeley County Detective Brian Fenton said “she was entrusted with education and keeping her students safe. That’s the trust she violated. The Cross community is a very tight-knit, smart community. In small communities the school is the center of the community. When a teacher violates her students’ trust, she essentially violates the whole community’s trust.”
Niemiec’s attorney David Aylor said he has not yet had a chance to speak with her, adding “obviously, this is the very beginning of the case. This is obviously extremely difficult for her and her family.”
The Berkeley school district has also released a statement, saying “the safety of all students is the top priority of the Berkeley County School District. Under no circumstances does the Berkeley County School District condone or tolerate any inappropriate conduct between its employees and students.”
