An Indiana woman faces the possibility of life in prison after admitting that she sold her baby for sex on eight different occasions. Natisha Hillard, 25, pleaded guilty to one count of selling a child for sex and two counts of allowing a child to take part in child pornography. The baby was four months old when the sexual abuse began and 18 months old when the arrests finally took place. At a minimum, Hillard will spend the next 30 years in prison.
Hillard was present for seven of the eight meetings where her baby was used for sex; in one of the meetings, the man paid additional money to be alone with the child. The man involved in all eight meetings, Christopher Bour, was charged with buying a child to produce child pornography, producing child pornography and possessing child pornography depicting a child under the age of 12. All of the incidents he was charged with took place between August 2011 and February 2013. His trial is scheduled to begin Thursday, but he is expected to put in an immediate guilty plea.
The despicable case unfolded when a woman who worked for Bour as a masseuse found child porn running on his computer and notified FBI officials. He had also tried to get the woman to photograph him having sex with the child and claimed to have received Hillard’s permission for this. Text messages he sent to the masseuse last year included graphic descriptions of what he planned to do to the baby and asked her “if u would hold the camera.”
Hillard has not made any public statements regarding her crimes.
