The LAPD cops who reportedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman are continuing to go about their duties as though nothing happened. Kim Nguyen told reporters that the incident took place last March as she and two friends exited a restaurant in Koreatown, They were waiting for a cab after a night of drinking, but were cornered by the cops and the two men were ordered to leave under the threat of arrest.
The video shows Nguyen sprawled on the ground as her dress was removed from the waist down. She was placed in the back of a squad car and one of the cops allegedly began to sexually assault her, grabbing her inner left thigh and forcing her legs apart while also pulling her ear. When she struggled to remove herself from the situation, the cop reportedly threw out of the moving vehicle and onto the street.
The woman spent two weeks in a coma at the hospital and suffered severe injuries from the attack, including brain damage, losing all of her teeth and temporarily having her jaw wired shut. The LAPD has declined to release the names of the officers reportedly involved.
Police claim that Nguyen “fell out” of the car, but her attorney, Arnold Casillas, claims that isn’t a possibility because she was handcuffed. He said that video shows that “the video shows the statement that the police officers gave the paramedics is an unabashed, unequivocal lie.”
