In a shocking display of double standards, a convicted female pedophile was sentenced to just two years in prison after having sex with an eight-year-old boy more than 50 times. Loren Morris was convicted a month ago at Worcester Crown Court in the U.K., but a judge gave her the light sentence because she “realized it was wrong” and stopped before her arrest took place.
Prosecutors argued that at 21-years-old, Morris’ “immaturity” should be taken into account and the judge shockingly agreed. “I take into account what has been said to me and the fact that you stopped the activity yourself,” said Judge Robert Juckes. “You realized it was wrong rather than being caught and forced to stop. That does not stop the fact though that you had full sexual intercourse with a child when he was 8 to 10 years old.”
Once Morris completed her sentence, she will be barred from having any contact with a child without the parents’ permission and forced to register as a sex offender for 10 years. She was seen arrogantly smiling outside of the courthouse with a cigarette after her sentencing.
In a separate instances of double standards across the pond, a Wisconsin woman avoided jail time after holding two adult men hostage and demanding they have sex with her.
A judge in the Marathon County Circuit Court ultimately gave Boyd a slap on the wrist, sentencing her to nine months in probation an no further jail time if she “stays out of trouble.” She will also not be required to complete any anger management counseling or psychotherapy.
