Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller played Saturday despite a report that a relative was involved in a North Florida shooting rampage.
The gunman was identified later Saturday as Spiller’s step-grandfather.
Three people were killed and two injured before the gunman shot himself; Gainesville TV station WCJB identified him as Hubert Allen Jr., 72. Victims were former co-workers and his onetime boss.
