It is hard to figure just exactly what is happening in this video. Is it a street fight? An assault? Horseplay? Fox News reports that the two involved in the fight are homeless and they are fighting over a bicycle. Either way, it was recovered from Trayvon’s cell phone and Zimmermann’s lawyers want to use it in court.
George Zimmerman’s defense team has released new cell phone video that they believe could prove key evidence in his second-degree murder trial. Zimmerman is charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
The new video released was reportedly obtained from Trayvon Martin’s cell phone. Initially, Zimmerman’s Defense Attorney Mark O’Mara said that the video showed Trayvon Martin and his friends beating up a homeless man. O’Mara eventually apologized, saying that in reality the video shows Trayvon Martin filming two homeless men fighting with each other over a bicycle.
On the video, you can hear what is believed to be Trayvon Martin’s voice, which Zimmerman’s team believes could be used to help identify the voice heard screaming for help in the background of the 911 call placed during Zimmerman and Martin’s fight.
