When families become dependent on the government, there is widespread chaos when the government can no longer take care of them.
This is what worries me about the welfare state. I don’t mind people using it during the hard times. I worry that when people become dependent on it, they struggle in ilfe without it.

State officials say that the Clayton County office was closed Monday because of furloughs and that could have contributed to the lines. They are investigating whether some sort of paperwork or computer problem might have lead to some families getting their benefits cut off by mistake.
