David Frum is blaming the conservative wing of the Republican party for Mitt Romney losing the presidency.
David Frum, a former speechwriter for President Bush, gave his assessment of the current state of the Republican party. Frum says that the Republican party is “a party of followership.” He continues on to say that ” Republicans have been fleeced and exploited and lied to by a conservative entertainment complex.” Joe Scarborough asked him to repeat this slowly. Hopefully this is a wakeup call to Republicans.
That is ridiculous on its face. George Bush ran up deficits while calling himself a "Conservative". He ruined the Republican brand and there are still a bunch of independents out there unwilling to vote Republican because of it.
Do not blame the Tea Party wing of the party! We were created out of necessity because neither the Liberals nor the RINOs are fixing what ails this nation.
