Governor Romney showed everybody he’s ready to be President. He appeared presidential. The president appeared small.
There was a question about Iran’s nuclear program. And the president responded with a petty answer about how the governor had some kind of an investment in a Chinese company that did business with Iran. What does that have to do with the nuclear program in Iran?
This is a big question about a major important issue. That’s existensial to one of our closest allies in Israel. And the president answers with that. He appeared petty, he did not look presidential.
[Romney] pointed out all the actions the president took that sent the signals to the Ayatollahs in Iran that they didn’t have to worry about Barack Obama. Whether it was skipping Israel in his travels to the Middle East. Whether it was the comment he made in his speeches. No protest to the green revolution in the early days of his presidency.
