10 billboards have been put up in the city of Cleveland reminding people that voter fraud is a felony.
“This is very offensive to me and members of my community. This is clearly an attempt at voter intimidation. When you have a picture of a judge’s gavel and word felony and fine and voter all in the same message. The only message you are intending to send by placing it where it is, is that this is a threat to you if you vote. I was outraged when I saw it last night. I’ve been spreading the word. Everybody in our community is outraged. This is an attempt to keep people from this community, particularly black people, from voting. It has to come down."
"They need to be exposed who they are."
This is hardly voter intimidation. Reminding people that a felony is a felony is a public service announcement.
