Ahead of tonight’s presidential debate in New York, conservatives were quick to note that CNN’s Candy Crowley had already disqualified herself as a moderator by suggesting that the choice of Paul Ryan as Romney’s running mate was a poor choice and that he represented a "death wish."
Crowley may have given conservatives more fodder for the criticism this evening. Both Obama and Romney interrupted each other on numerous occasions, but Crowley appeared to disallow follow up answers from Romney more than from Obama.
But the most telling Crowley moment of all came when she ordered,
"Gov. Romney, sit down."
Crowley’s rather rude directive was never used against Obama, although he stood up and interrupted as much if not more than Romney.
