On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.
Aaron Carson Vaughn was one of the SEALs to lose his life. His parents were the ones that alerted us to the fact that Obama’s administration sent them a form letter to notify them of the death — even though he sends a personal letter for rapper Heavy D.
His parents said the Obama administration put an X on their son’s back by identifying SEAL Team 6 as the ones that carried out the Bin Laden raid. They say it was criminal.
