Imagine this scenario.
- Campaign season is now in its stretch run — just about 90 days left until the election.
- Mitt Romney selects his VP the day before.
- Obama is in his hometown of Chicago.
- Admission for a campaign fundraiser is only $51 (compare that to the thousands they can go for)….
You would expect the event to sell out, right?
But according to author Jodi Kantor, the room was only half full. What an embarrassment. The media loves to jump on every "Romney is not exciting" story but where is the media when Obama cannot get people to come to his events?
