A homeless black man was being harrassed in public. But you won’t see Al Sharpton, Reverend Jesse Jackson, or anyone at the ACLU come to his defense. Why? Because he was being mocked for reading the Bible.
There was chalk on the ground pointing to him saying that he is really gay. And others telling him that his book was full of hypocrisy.
I don’t believe this was racism but I do believe the man was attacked for his religious beliefs — which is another form of prejudice.
The incident occurred in Chicago during the CFA Kiss-In Protest.
