Don Perry is the head spokesman for Chick-fil-A restaurants. He died suddenly Friday morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
Perry, who worked for the company for almost 29 years, “passed away suddenly [Friday] morning,” the Atlanta-based chain said on its website, without disclosing the cause of Perry’s death. Perry “was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities,” the company said.
Last week, Perry e-mailed out an official response to the controversy, stating that the company’s plans were to “leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” The company’s policy, he wrote, “is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender.”
Liberals have the nerve to call this Karma.
