This is a satirical video posted by "The Message", a liberal group the day before Romney was set to meet with the NAACP.
Quotes from the video:
"blacks don’t like us and we’re about to give a speech to a whole lot of them."
"You are so white, you are extremely white, you make Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel … go on out there and get all Mormon, Martin Luther King on them."
Infowars says the purpose of the video is to:
"plant the idea that Mitt Romney is a presidential candidate for white people and if he wins the election it will be disastrous for black people."
The group stands by their video in a press release with the following objective:
"say things that Democrats are afraid to say, connect with young voters-many of whom are alienated by today’s political climate, and give smart and insightful voices an opportunity to contribute to the debate."
Joe Newby of the Washington Examiner asks the question… "is it satire or reverse racism?".
I personally found it satirical. I think they intended to make Republicans look like racist bigots but that just plays to their base. It doesn’t work with most people so I am not too worried.
