Arizona’s Sec of State Ken Bennett says he may keep Obama off the ballot entirely in November unless Hawaii can prove his birth records.
Hawaii responded to him saying they will not release any birth records unless Bennett can go through the steps necessary to prove that he needs this information.
The Hawaii attorney general’s office has reportedly told Bennett that there are steps he needs to take in order to confirm President Obama’s birth records.
Those steps include Bennett proving that he legitimately needs confirmation in order to update the records at his office.
In April 2011, Arizona’s legislature passed a birther bill that Governor Jan Brewer vetoed.
