James David Manning, pastor of the Atlah World Ministries in Harlem, is a very vocal critic of Obama.
He makes a claim in one of his recent videos about that Obama’s counselor Bishop T.D. Jakes has a private jet worth over $100 Million — partially funded by welfare.
Here are statements that he made in the video to support his claim. He uses his personal knowledge, as a pastor, to back up these numbers.
- 30% of the monies a Church gets are coming retirement money, social services money, and food stamp money.
- 40% of money comes from people near the poverty level.
"When a pastor or any preacher buys a $100 Million private jet… $30 million was welfare money… and he calls himself a prosperity preacher. You see? … That jet was paid for by food stamps… Why don’t the media cover this?"
The only problem with his report is the fact that he did not mention T.D. Jakes has also been a counselor for President Clinton and GW Bush. So his scandal if it is one would not be tied solely to Obama.
