Senate Bill 15 is a bill in the Colorado legislature that would create a third payment tier for education.
- in-state tuition
- out-of-state tuition
- in-state illegal alien tuition
It will not reduce their tuition to the same level as in-state students but it will still be lower than out of state students.
On Thursday, it passed committee. All Democrats voted in favor while all the Republicans voted against. And it is expected to pass the state Senate. So we shall see what happens going forward.
With bonehead moves like this, hopefully the GOP base of Colorado (and the Tea Party) will join forces and vote out those Democrats from the state Senate … and as a bonus vote out Obama.
