Breaking news story out of USA Today, Obama gets in a tense exchange with Governor Brewer of Arizona about the way she was portrayed him in his book.
This supports reports that Obama is not very personable with members of Congress and acts like a bully in negotiations.
How do you get mad at another public servant for expressing their first amendment rights via working on a book.
Conservatives are fond of Governor Brewer for tackling immigration reform but Obama had the federal government sue her state. This relationship is not without drama and a past.
"He was a little disturbed about my book, Scorpions for Breakfast," Brewer told reporters travelling with Obama. "I said to him that I have all the respect in the world for the office of the president. The book is what the book is. I asked him if he read the book. He said he read the excerpt. "
So basically Obama did NOT even read Brewer’s book. All he read was the excerpt. How can you be upset about how you were portrayed if you are not even going to read the book?
Obama looks like a bully.
