We reported a few days ago that a judge in Georgia had order Barack Obama to personally appear in court and produce documentation proving his eligibility to be President — or else he will not be on the Democratic primary ballot.
But it looks like he will ignore that request. As reported in the Huffington Post, The White House appears prepared to ignore a recent ruling by Georgia Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi that would require President Obama to attend a birther hearing in Fulton County, Ga., on Thursday.
In fact, his schedule has already been booked this week and he is expected to be in Detroit.
Orly Taitz says this case would be 100 times larger than Watergate.
But this is not a federal court case but a state one. He does not have to be on the Georgia ballot to become the Democratic nominee. Democrats call this case a frivolous lawsuit. Hard to see what use will come of this but I am going to stay tuned on this story.
