His bounty has been stolen…. and, he wants it back.
Thursday, TMZ reported that Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth, his wife, had been robbed while staying in a hotel in Los Angeles. The thief (or thieves) took thousands of dollars from their room.
Reports say the couple was robbed of about $5,000 in cash. It was in the safe inside their room at the Luxe Hotel. When they opened the safe, both Dog and Beth were shocked to find that the money was gone.
There was no sign of forced entry, say cops. The couple had all of their luggage and a lot of jewelry in the room as well. None of that was touched.
At the time of TMZ’s report, the police had plans to check the hotel’s key card system to see if anyone made one for Dog’s room. They were also working with hotel security to check surveillance videos.
Cops believe it was an inside job. Duane “Dog” Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter) and Beth are both safe.
There were no signs of forced entry, authorities said.
Investigators were trying to figure out if anyone had made a key card copy to enter the room, hinting the theft might have been an inside job, TMZ reported.
No jewelry or luggage was taken in the robbery — only the cash.
