In London, mother Cristinela Datcu stepped out of the shower to a horrifying sight: her twin children bludgeoned with horrendous injuries, and their father gone. The boy twin had later died at the hospital, while the 1-year-old girl is fighting for her life in intensive care. The father was arrested after a manhunt.
The father, Bidhya Sagar Das, 33, was believed to be the only suspect, as he fled their home shortly after the twins’ horrific injuries and death. He was arrested after a 20 hour manhunt, no word on where he might have been headed, or the motive for killing his young children.
The mother, Datcu, was so distraught after her discovery of her children that neighbors heard her screaming, followed by her running out on the street trying to flag down help.
The Sun has more:
Police have confirmed the suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Locals told how distraught Cristinela ran screaming into the street for help after discovering the bloodbath.
Stunned neighbours reported seeing the two tiny children being carried from the flat during last night’s horror after the devastated mum shouted out to the street “my kids, my kids, help me!”
A neighbour who took the harrowing photo of the mum raising the alarm with a towel around her head said: “I was in front room watching TV when I heard this terrible wailing noise.
“I looked out and saw this poor woman and I could tell something very bad had happened.
“A man was running up and down the street as if he was looking for someone of chasing after someone.
“When the police came the woman was screaming at them, ‘My kids, my kids, why did you take so long to come?’
“When the babies were eventually brought out by the paramedics I could hear one of them crying.
“They were both hooked up to some kind of machines, I guessed to help them with their breathing.
“Police cars were speeding up and down the street. The woman eventually left separately with the police.”
