Patriots everywhere were stunned last Thursday when five police officers were shot dead in Dallas by a Black Lives Matter activist. Days later, another cop was shot, and what happened next is troubling.
On Saturday, Officer Mike Flamion was shot three times in the back while making a routine traffic stop in suburban St. Louis. According to Allen B. West, Flamion has just pulled over 31 year-old Taylor speeding when he walked away to process paperwork and was shot.
After having a brief conversation with Taylor, Flamion turned around and the suspect “advanced quickly” and fired three shots, one of which hit Flamion in the neck. The local police say Flamion “had no chance at all” to pull his handgun and “was completely helpless.”
Taylor is a black man who was on probation at the time of the shooting for a weapons violation. In the past, he has also been on probation for stealing a vehicle as well as serving prison time for a gun charge in California.
Ballwin’s police chief has refused to speculate as to whether this attack was racially motivated. Considering the fact that Flamion was white and his attacker was black, and that this random attack occurred less than two days after the Dallas shooting, race and anti-cop sentiments seem to be the only possible motives.
