GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump called for a special prosecutor to be assigned to investigate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and whether or not she accepted pay-to-play donations from her non-profit Clinton Foundation charity.
“The Clintons made the State Department into the same kind of pay-to-play operation as the Arkansas government was: Pay the Clinton Foundation huge sums of money and throw in some big speaking fees for Bill Clinton and you got to play with the State Department,” he said during a campaign rally in Akron, Ohio, according to Breitbart.
“The amounts involved, the favors done and the significant numbers of times it was done require an expedited investigation by a special prosecutor,” he added.
This out to have both Hillary Clinton and her husband shaking in their boots, especially former President Bill Clinton, who in 1998 was impeached over evidence procured by special prosecutor Kenneth Starr.
It was a special prosecutor who dispatched Bill Clinton in the 90s over his sexual impropriety in the White House, and it may just be another one who does the same to Hillary Clinton over her unethical practices as secretary of state.
Speaking on “CBS This Morning” on Tuesday, reporter Nancy Cordes echoed this sentiment.
“The term special prosecutor strikes fear in the hearts of longtime Clinton-ites, who still recall when Kenneth Starr was appointed to look into the Whitewater controversy, an investigation that metastasized to include Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, and eventually contributed to former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment,” she said.

Not surprisingly, Clinton’s campaign hacks have reportedly been hitting back against the allegations against Clinton, claiming that the data was false and the accusations “outrageous.”
They said the same thing before Starr’s investigation. But, if they really believe that, then they have nothing to be afraid of from a special prosecutor.
