George Orwell predicted a future socialist society brought about by revolution and radical change. In his work of fiction, “1984,” Orwell outlined how a revolution is carried out. In order to be successful, a revolution has to feature the complete and utter degradation of the middle class thus allowing the welfare class to expand its ranks and grow in power. The government is then controlled by the majority welfare class. Does the Black Lives Matter movement reflect an Orwellian revolutionary ideology?
Some would agree that it does. Black Lives Matter seeks to affect change by radically transforming the United States by any means possible. Although they claim to stand for the African-American community, they represent a fringe group that clearly rejects everything that African-American leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. stood for.
Black Lives Matter has a leftist agenda that fosters radical change in America. They believe that they are fighting against a white privilege, racist system that they believe to be middle class America. They want to destroy the middle class and in effect, increase the welfare class. This all sounds very 1984-like to us!
The Federalist Papers Project reports:
King, and other Civil Rights Leaders of old, understood that there was a growing threat in the 1960s of a new breed of slavery being born; welfare slavery, slavery to big government. King, through his speeches, attempted to show African Americans the importance of becoming self-reliant and developing a strong work ethic that they might never again fall into the bondage of slavery.
Tragically, the ascendancy of Black Lives Matters today shows that King failed in his mission. Many young African-Americans find themselves becoming useful idiots for the radical left and, due to having bought into the victim’s mentality that King warned about, sincerely believe they are fighting against a, “racist” system which in actuality does not exist.
Black Lives Matter has an agenda for radical, revolutionary change within the United States. The kind of change that is readily embraced by the radical left. Many young African-Americans have been fooled into fighting for this sinister cause in the name of combating the fictitious ghost of “white privilege.”
