In a Fox News appearance a Cleveland police detective, Steve Loomis, the president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, said that President Obama has blood on his hands due to the way he’s handling tensions between law enforcement and the black community.
In his telephone interview with Fox News, Loomis spoke about the recent shooting of three police officers in Baton Rouge. He said that this cycle of violence has to stop. He called on American leadership to step up and put an end to it.
Loomis blamed the media, celebrities, and President Barack Obama for turning the cops into the bad guys. Loomis stated, “It’s the irresponsible reporting of the media and it’s the irresponsible statements of people that are credible, like the president of the United States, like celebrities.”
