Obama’s Fast and Furious gun program allowed suspected criminals to purchase guns in the U. S. and take them into Mexico without interference from ATF. The theory was that once the guns were in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels, they would be traced by the ATF. More than 2,000 guns were sold under the program, none of which were traced as part of Fast and Furious.
One of the weapons that was part of the Fast and Furious program is believed to have been used to kill a U. S. Border Patrol Officer, Brian Terry, in Arizona. Another one of the weapons has surfaced in a rather unusual place. A weapon used by ISIS in the November, 2015, attack in Paris that killed 130 people was also traced to the program. Should Obama be held accountable?
Conservative Tribune reports:
First, guns linked to the Obama administration’s Fast and Furious killed Border Patrol Officer Brian Terry in Arizona. Then, a weapon linked to the illegal gun-walking operation that was overseen by former Attorney General Eric Holder ended up in the hideout of drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman in Mexico.
Now, it seems that the tendrils of the Obama administration’s shameful operation could reach all the way over the ocean to Paris.
According to documents uncovered by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, one of the guns used by Islamic State terrorists in the November 13, 2015. Paris attacks that killed 130 people was from Phoenix, Arizona — one of the areas that the Fast and Furious operation was conducted.
