North Korea is at it again. They’ve been testing tensions for months with various threats and missile launches.
This time, their call for attention took place during a joint South Korea-United States military exercise.
North Korea test fired a submarine-based ballistic missile from the East Sea on Wednesday, said South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.
North Korea’s launch took place in the waters off Sinpo, South Hamgyong Province in the early morning.
This comes amid the annual joint military exercise between US and South Korea, which kicked off on Monday.
The annual drill includes 25,000 US troops, the bulk of which are already stationed in Korea, according to a statement by US Forces Korea.
North Korea has also threatened to nuke the US and South Korea if any signs of aggression are sen during the drills.
North Korea is doing nothing, but screaming for attention. They are doing just enough to be noticed, but not actually get punished. But perhaps it is time to punish them and put them in their place. If they keep this up, they deserve to be taught a lesson.
