Yes, even Twitter has rules and Milo Yiannopoulos found out the hard way by getting himself permanently suspended from the online social media giant. Yiannopoulos is a Greek-British blogger, journalist, and technology editor for Brietbart, an American-based, conservative website.
Yiannopoulos has been very critical of actress Leslie Jones over her role in the new Ghostbusters movie. Following one of his less than complimentary reviews, Yiannopoulos received an email from Twitter.
The email reads: “Hello, Your account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of the Twitter Rules, specifically our rules prohibiting participating in or inciting targeted abuse of individuals. B Given that you have previously received repeated warnings for similar violations, your account will not be restored.”
Chicks on the Right reports:
I can’t say this was unexpected. Surprising? Somewhat. But considering how much of a stranglehold the Cult of Social Justice has taken on Twitter, I think it was bound to happen.
According to this, Milo Yiannopoulos has been permanently banned (“permanently suspended” is what they’re calling it) from Twitter following uproar after a scathing review he posted of the new Ghostbusters movie. The controversy swirled around one of the actresses, Leslie Jones (who plays the walking racist stereotype Ghostbuster that I can’t be bothered to remember her name).
