A serious bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Lebanon VA medical center today.
Police have confirmed the facility, which threats veterans living in South Central PA, received the threat this morning. Everyone from building 17 was evacuated.
ABC 27 reports the following:
Medical center spokesman Douglas Etter said the facility received the threat at around 8:30 a.m.
He said all appointments in Building 17, which primarily houses the center’s outpatient offices, are being rescheduled.
“The safety of our veterans, staff, and volunteers is our primary concern,” Etter said in a statement.
