When Washington Post reporter Abby D. Phillip excitedly tweeted about a “big boisterous crowd” in Omaha to hear Hillary Clinton and Warren Buffet speak, along with a photo, it looked as if there were hundreds, if not thousands, of supporters there.

Based on this image it looks pretty big right?
Unfortunately, the picture – like the press – doesn’t tell the whole story.
At the same time, Phillip reported on the massive crowd, another tweeter posted a different picture of the same crowd:

That’s right…apparently only around 50 people showed up. They may have been boisterous, but the crowd certainly wasn’t big.

Hours later, another user posted an image that seems to show the full bleachers. What happened in those two hours to get those people there, we may never know.
