Liz Warren tried to make fun of Donald Trump’s immigration policy. She called Trump’s wall stupid. Maybe she didn’t notice the tall fence that was going up in Philly to keep Clinton protestors out of the Convention Center.
But there’s not much to laugh about in the Democratic Party. The Democratic National Committee is building walls of its own these days. There is a huge, invisible wall dividing the party. Bernie Sanders supporters are fuming over how the primary process was rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton.
News of the underhanded way in which Clinton won the nomination became known when email messages that were hacked from the DNC email server were made public by Wikileaks.
Clinton didn’t honestly and truly win the Democratic nomination, but that shouldn’t surprise us. Honesty and truth are not words that come to mind when we think about the Clintons. The only people who are shocked and upset are liberals who took part in the primary process and supported a candidate who was doomed by party leadership to fail.
Independent Journal reports:
Senator Elizabeth Warren took time out of her DNC speech at the convention speech to talk about Donald Trump’s “stupid wall that will never get built,” which she said to wild applause.
But the Democratic National Committee now braces to be rocked by anti-Hillary protests, fueled by damaging hacked emails released by Wikileaks.
Several of the hacked emails point to collusion between former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the Hillary campaign (which Ms. Schultz is now an “honorary” part of). Her replacement, Donna Brazile, has likewise been implicated in hostility to the Sanders campaign during the primary election, leading to her dismissal from CNN.
