Donald Trump, billionaire businessman and Republican presumptive nominee, is known for telling it like it is. He doesn’t beat around the bush. Trump says what’s on his mind. In a recent speech, Trump had some choice words for Hillary Clinton. He called her a “world class liar” and described her as the “most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency.” Those were pretty harsh words that Clinton didn’t expect from a Republican.
Rush Limbaugh explained that establishment Republicans like Mitt Romney or the Bush family would have ever called out Clinton the way that Trump has. The reason? Comments like that might hit too close to home for some members of the GOP. Trump is a political outsider. He’s never held a public office before and therefore hasn’t succumbed to the world of political bribes and favors. Limbaugh lauded Trump for saying what most Americans have thought for years.
Conservative Tribune reports:
Billionaire businessman and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump delivered a speech Wednesday morning that focused on the shortcomings of his likely rival in the general election, presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
In his speech, Trump referred to Clinton as a “world class liar” who utilizes the “politics of personal profit” and was best described as “the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency.”
The hard-hitting speech was nearly too much for conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh to take, not because he disagreed, but because he was astonished that a Republican presidential candidate actually said out loud what a majority of the American people think or say among themselves.
