George W. Bush appreciates our veterans. He holds an annual Warrior 100K bike ride each year where veterans and other guests get to ride along with Bush on a 41 mile long trail winding through his Texas ranch. The ride is part of the Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative, that acknowledges the bravery and sacrifice of our veterans.
Say what you want about George W. Bush, but he spent his birthday with people who mean a lot to him, veterans. Bush never misses an opportunity to connect with the men and women who have served this country with honor. From hospital visits, to bike rides, to golf tournaments, the former President is honored to be with them, sharing in their experiences and listening to their stories. You can be sure that the veterans who take part in these events share the same respect for Bush as he has for them.
Conservative Tribune reports:
George W. Bush spent his birthday with an incredible group of people who have done amazing things for our country, and it was a group of people our current commander in chief has little, if any, respect for.
Pictures posted to Bush’s social media accounts showed him riding on bicycle trails with veterans.
Bush, who turned 70 Wednesday, has always expressed an incredible amount of respect for those who serve our country.
