While we like to think that America is the land of free speech, it seems to be more the case that TV networks and other such entities have the ability to limit the information we receive.
When an institution doesn’t like a message, they do their best to prevent it from reaching innocent ears.
But when it comes to our children, a little censorship is probably good. We don’t want the next generation of children seeing or hearing things that are too vulgar at a young and impressionable age.
Unfortunately, children are getting smartphones and iPads at younger ages and can access the internet where they can see pretty much anything they want.
This IKEA commercial was considered too hot for TV. So it was banned in America before it could even air. But take a look at the video below and tell us what you think? Is it a good thing our children didn’t see this commercial?
While this IKEA commercial might be a bit much for TV, one thing is clear – this commercial is definitely funny. Once you give it a watch, you might find yourself snorting with laughter.
