Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton seemed to suffer from another mental lapse Monday when she asserted that she would not send ground troops to fight against ISIS if she were elected president.
“Well, that is off the table, as far as I am concerned,” she said, according to Breitbart.
That would be a perfectly fine answer if there weren’t already thousands of U.S. soldiers fighting on the ground in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
Either she forgot or suffered another lapse. Given her recent behavior and the fact that she started getting classified national security briefings that mention those deployments, the latter seems probable.
Hillary Clinton says American ground troops to fight ISIS are “off the table”

Either way followers of Breitbart reporter Charlie Spiering responded to this statement with some great questions, such as the type not ever to be asked of Hillary Clinton by the liberal mainstream media.
“So, she’s bringing home the 3,000 already there?” asked one follower.
“So @hillaryclinton will take those currently fighting out and send them home?” asked another. “Is this another lie?”
Clinton also said she would continue President Barack Obama’s strategy against the Islamic state group, saying, “It won’t be easy or quick, but make no mistake, we will prevail.”
She added, “There is no doubt in my mind.”
