Wow! The Democrats have really nailed it this time. They claim that they caught Donald Trump Jr. red-handed for plagiarism. It seems that there are two lines that Donald Jr. used that are the same as two lines in an article written by George Mason University law professor F.H. Buckley.
Let’s see what Professor Buckley has to say about that!
Professor Buckley, who wrote the article, was also the principal speech writer for Donald Trump Jr. Buckley says that any charges of plagiarism are completely unfounded.
“I’m a speechwriter. This is what speech writers do,” Buckley said. “You’re looking for something improper, I don’t see it.”
Donald Trump’s senior communication advisor, Jason Miller, tweeted: “1/2 Nice try Clinton machine – Francis Buckley is a friend of Don Jr.’s and worked with him on the speech.”
Miller also tweeted: “2/2 Your time would be better spent searching for Crooked Hillary’s missing emails rather than disparaging a real American Patriot.”
Chicks on the Right reports:
Another? Yes, another.
Donald Trump Jr.’s RNC speech was awesome. If not for Chris Christie, he would’ve owned the night, easily. He made the case for his father and even managed to make those who feel uneasy about Trump feel not just better, but excited.
But screw the content. He TOTALLY plagiarized! At least, that’s what the critics say.
The Daily Show did everyone a favor and tweeted out similarities between two– yes, two– lines in Don Trump Jr.’s speech and an article written by George Mason University law professor F.H. Buckley.
