While Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, now employed as a political commentator for CNN, doesn’t work for the GOP presidential candidate anymore, he is still willing to stand up for the guy.
And that’s exactly what he did on CNN on Wednesday, when Lewandowski took a stand against President Obama’s attacks on Trump, arguing that it was not befitting “the decorum of the presidency of the United States.”
But when co-host Angela Rye fired back by saying that Trump technically started the feud between him and Obama years ago, by demanding that Obama show his birth certificate and his college transcripts, Lewandowski quickly interjected.
“Did he ever release his transcripts from Harvard?” he asked. “I’m just asking. You raised the issue. Did he ever release his transcripts or his admission to Harvard University? You raised the issue, so just ‘yes’ or ‘no.’”
Rather than just responding with a no, Obama never released his transcripts, Rye replied childishly by saying, “I’m going to Beyoncé you — boy, bye.”
She added, “You just so out of line right now…tell your candidate to release his tax returns.”

Trump’s former campaign manager made some legitimate points, the best one probably being that the president should keep his nose out of the election and focus on more important things, such as defeating the Islamic State group.
