When a business owner in Pennsylvania received a phone call from a disgruntled customer who was upset about the large Donald Trump sign outside his store, he made a slight modification to the display.
“I am a longstanding customer and client of yours,” the unnamed caller told Mike Makowski, owner of Best Mulch Inc. in Concordville. “I was very much insulted by your overkill with the Donald Trump sign.”
The customer explained that she usually bought “quite a bit” of mulch from Makowski each year for various projects but that because of the Trump sign she would no longer be buying from Makowski, according to an audio recording reported by The Gateway Pundit.
“You have lost me as a customer,” she said. “I don’t know what the sign is going to do for you, other than the fact that you’re bringing your political views into your business.”
The caller argued that Trump would not only lose the election, but Makowski’s support for the GOP presidential candidate would cause him to lose “a very large customer and client.”
Instead of taking down his Trump sign, the business owner opted to show the disgruntled Hillary Clinton-supporting customer how he really felt about losing her business.
Makowski welded together a jail cell out of metal bars, created a replica of Democrat presidential nominee Clinton dressed in an orange jumpsuit, and affixed the hilarious display to the large Trump-Pence sign, which he placed back out in front of his business.
