Country music singer and songwriter Blake Shelton made a statement about Republican nominee Donald Trump Thursday that didn’t just stun his Hollywood peers, but triggered one of them into a complete meltdown.
“Whether you love him or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don’t always have to be so afraid,” the popular singer said during an interview with Billboard magazine. “A lot of people are pulling for him, no matter how much Hollywood fights it.”
“I see people who don’t like him go and beat up people that do like him,” he continued. “You tell me, who’s crazy here?”
According to Fox News, fellow Hollywood star Debra Messing, known for her role a Grace Adler in the longtime NBC series “Will & Grace,” nearly lost it when she read the interview.
Specifically, she sent Shelton’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, a tweet urging her to “talk to your man” lest he “vote for the person who will STRIP you of your rights.”
Suffice it to say, people like Debra Messing know very little about the actual facts. Majority of their knowledge is limited to gossip about the things Donald Trump plans to do if he becomes president.
Unlike his Hollywood peers, Blake Shelton clearly hasn’t fallen for these falsehoods.
