When Omar Mateen carried out his terrorist attack on gays in Orlando, the media and Democrats were quick to jump on the gun control bandwagon. We had Obama and his administration blaming everything except radical Islam for the attack. Weeks later, a man opens fire into a crowd at a South Carolina nightclub, but we don’t hear about it. Democrats aren’t staging a sit-in to try to force a new gun control law. Liberals aren’t blaming the NRA or Republicans and the lack of strict gun control for the shooting. Why?
We probably aren’t hearing any outrage over this because a man who was at the scene and who also had a concealed carry permit, shot the perpetrator before anyone was killed. The suspect, who was shot in the leg, has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, one charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon and for carrying a weapon while committing a violent crime.
Perhaps the outcome of Omar Mateen’s attack in Orlando would have been different if someone had been able to return fire that night.
Conservative Post reports:
Media is not reporting this. Just few weeks after Orlando.
A man with a concealed carry license stopped a shooter after the latter opened fire on a crowd of people at a nightclub in South Carolina early Sunday morning, according to WISTV.com.
After getting into a fight with another person, the 32-year-old suspect pulled out a gun and began to fire at a crowd of people gathered outside of the club, hitting and injuring four, WISTV reports. One of the victims, who holds a concealed-carry permit, shot back in self-defense, hitting the suspect in the leg.
The suspect has been charged with four counts of attempted murder. He was also charged for unlawfully carrying a weapon and for carrying one while committing a violent crime.
