The producer of seasons one and two of “The Apprenctice” warned us that there were more tapes that were going to be coming out about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and it appears he was right in transcript form, anyway.
The Huffington Post (via Independent Journal Review) released a transcript of a tape that included Trump talking in a derogatory manner about a woman who was being managed by one of the teams on his show.
To make things worse, the New York Daily News reported that might not be all – according to them, a possible tape involving Trump using the n-word on “The Apprentice” exists somewhere out there.
First, the tape involving the woman on “The Apprentice” came from a 2010 episode of “Celebrity Apprentice.” Two teams were given the task of managing then-unknown country music stars and making them over before they met with music executives.
One team got Emily West, a singer who would later make waves on “America’s Got Talent.” The other team got Luke Bryan – who, as you probably know, would definitely no longer could be considered “unknown.”
As Trump examined the job each team did via photographs in the show’s “boardroom,” he made comments regarding West’s skin that have reignited the controversy around the Republican nominee.
“I assume you’re gonna leave this off, don’t put this s*** on the show, you know. But her skin, her skin sucks, okay?” Trump said, in the obviously unaired segment. “I mean her skin, she needs some serious f***ing dermatology.”
Cyndi Lauper, the 1980s singer, was heading the team that was handling West. She interjected to say that they had used “dry stuff” — assumedly, some form of makeup.
“F***,” Trump continued. “That’s Emily, that’s what I’m hearing about? Let me see the other one. I assume you’re not putting this on the show. ‘Cause I don’t wanna destroy the kid’s career.”
“Personally, I am, as you probably heard, not a gay man, but I think he’s (Bryan) better looking that (sic) Emily, OK?” Trump continued.
When country star Trace Adkins said that he thought West’s photo shoot was a bit more polished, Trump responded, “You’re obviously not a skin man … which is OK. I wish I wasn’t.”
While the conversation isn’t likely going to help Trump’s polling, let’s point out that this handed hundreds of times a day in offices throughout the entertainment industry.
To pretend this conversation isn’t going on daily in the offices of Hillary Clinton’s biggest donors would be foolish. The entertainment industry was founded on a cult of airbrushed perfection. It is brutal on women about their looks, more so than Donald Trump has been.
On the other hand, if that rumored other tape exists — you know, the one with the n-word — that’s going to be a lot more of a firestorm.
the claim for the tape’s existence came from Hollywood insider Chris Nee, who said she’s “heard” about these tapes existing. She says the reason they can’t come out is because of the fact that Trump’s employees have signed non-disclosure agreements that would set them back $5 million if they leak them.
While this sounds damaging, let’s take a minute to assess things.
Irrespective of the fact that NDAs have been invalidated in the past when the information being released is in the public interest, let’s get real here: Who wouldn’t pay $5 million to have this tape released? Heck, Nee herself is the creator of “Doc McStuffins,” the kids show that’s a merchandizing juggernaut. I’m pretty certain she could swing $5 million somehow.
And, after all, Nee herself seemed to back away from the rumors pretty quickly.
Folks, I have never worked on The Apprentice. I don't know what's out there. Or what still exists. I've heard rumors. Would love to know.

Let’s point out that she seemed to be the only one willing to claim these tapes even exist. The only other person intimating it has been Bill Pruitt, another producer who tweeted that there was worse to come after the first tape.

Could this rumored tape even exist?
I am sure we will find out soon enough.
