The Department of Justice has issued a warning to law enforcement officers. The Department, acting on intelligence gathered across the nation, issued a bulletin stating that there is a probability of violence to uniformed and plain clothes law enforcement officers. The warning stated that the threat is from gangs as well as individuals.
One gang has offered elevated status to any member who initiates violence against police.
One gang leader said that killing a Federal law enforcement agent will have more meaning and a greater effect on the public than the murder of a local police officer. Some groups have openly applauded the killing of police officers in Dallas.
The media, Black Lives Matter, and President Barack Obama have all been blamed for the recent spate of violence against law enforcement. Americans are getting fed up and want the violence to stop.
The Federalist Papers Project reports:
The climate of violence toward police officers has gotten so bad that the U.S. Department of Justice issued a bulletin warning to police officers of a serious threat to their safety.
ABC News reported that the DOJ’s National Gang Intelligence Center issued a bulletin on July 15th warning to both uniformed and plain-clothes police officers of potential violence by individuals and street gangs.
The violent climate that has permeating the media and stirred by groups such as Black Lives Matter as well as the president himself has clearly morphed into a much more sinister organized threat against police officers.
